About MoveRight Therapeutics
The MoveRight System: An Overview
The MoveRight system uses a two pronged approach to treating repetitive stress injury:

1) The application of principles originally developed to help concert pianists improve their technical and musical abilities as well as rehabilitate and prevent playing-related RSI.

2) The implementation of fundamental ergonomic principles such as body alignment and proper placement of office equipment.

The MoveRight system for curing RSI is based on decades of anatomical and biomechanical studies that have identified certain upper body motions which when repeated enough times can cause RSI. MoveRight specialists use leading edge techniques to identify which of these culprit motions a client is unknowingly using. They then retrain the client to move in an anatomically correct and properly coordinated way, minimizing pain and fatigue. A skilled mover seeking to avoid back pain and injury would carefully squat and tweak his posture while moving a heavy box. Similarly, computer users need to move and position their arms, fingers, and hands in a way that does not cause strain when they perform the repetitive tasks (typing) their job is dependent upon.

Clients often report that they notice results as early as the first session. MoveRight does not require any hospital stays or use of special equipment such as isolation gloves, wrist supports, and non-standard keyboards. It allows clients to understand why they are experiencing pain and how to reduce or eliminate it so they can continue to work productively and move on with their lives. In addition to fixing injuries, MoveRight specialists can also teach clients how to type significantly faster.

What Do Pianists And Typists Have In Common?
Pianists probably rely on their keyboarding abilities more than practitioners of any other profession, so it is no wonder that they take the prevention and treatment of repetitive stress injury very seriously. The Taubman Approach has been pianists' method of choice for treating RSI since its inception over half a century ago and MoveRight specialists are the world's leading experts in applying its principles to pain-free typing and completion of other repetitive tasks.

The MoveRight Therapeutics Team
MoveRight Therapeutics was founded by Edna Golandsky, the Juilliard trained pianist who Dorothy Taubman has called "the leading authority on the Taubman Approach." Edna has over 30 years of experience treating and curing repetitive stress injuries of all kinds and is joined by a network of specialists located in various parts of the United States and the rest of the world. She has been written about in publications including the New York Times, LA Times, Star Ledger, and Boston Globe, and chairs an annual conference at Princeton University. In addition to teaching in one-on-one settings, MoveRight specialists can also conduct group sessions. To find out if there is a MoveRight specialist near you, contact us.

Experience Treating a Variety of Injuries
Anyone suffering pain or fatigue of any kind resulting from any type of repetitive motion injury has much to gain from the MoveRight system. MoveRight specialists have cured computer users as well as pianists, string and woodwind players, and percussionists of their repetitive motion injuries and they continue to find new, innovative applications for the approach. They have worked with children, adults, and the elderly. They have had success with all degrees of pain, from mild discomfort and fatigue to injuries so severe that prior to treatment, the client could not accomplish common tasks such as opening jars or turning doorknob.
